Ernest will be starring in Brandi Burks’ poignant play “Men Cry Too.” The play is scheduled for one show only on Saturday September 24th at the Wilshire Ebell Theater in Los Angeles.
The 90-minute relationship drama explores the choices a man faces when life is too good. It follows Ronald, who has it all: a loyal wife, two beautiful children, a thriving career, a white picket fence, and a craving for something else.
“The message here is that everyone has to make decisions in their lives — big and small — and that life does not come with an owner’s manual,” Burks said about the play in a news release. “We’ve all got to take it one day at a time, and hope that when our backs are against the wall, we’ll make the right choice.”
Anyone looking in would want Ronald’s life….but does Ronald want it? Or does he want to walk on the wild side instead? Will Ronald’s wild ride with temptation cause him to lose all that he’s been blessed with? Will he wake up before it’s too late? Or will Ronald jeopardize all that he has been given? When the lights are turned on, will Ronald understand, WHY MEN CRY TOO….
